A more gentle and sweet piece for the young band. "Whispers of Winter" will serve as an excellent strengthener of 3/4 time, as well as dynamics and phrasing. Wind and Brass parts use just the first five notes of the Bb Scale and basic rhythms throughout. This piece gives a great opportunity for the band to practice their changes in dynamics as the beginning starts out with a gentle whispering melody and gradually grows to the powerful climax!
