Snaefell's Peak

Snaefell is the tallest mountain on the Isle of Man, just barely peaking at 2,000 feet. It is said that at the top of Snaefell, three places can be seen: Ireland, Scotland, and England. The work was written after the composer visited these regions. Snaefell's Peak is written in a rondo form, using three themes in the form of A-B-A-C-A. The work features a flute soli and other short features for all sections of the band.
