"Fractured follows a theme searching, as we all do, for a grounded sense of self and identity. Over the course of the work, the music takes wrong turns, makes questionable decisions, yet winds up exactly where it should be, proving emergence of identity stems from the uncertainty itself. "Fractured is scored for violin, cello, flute, clarinet in Bb, piano, and glockenspiel and has a duration of 5:30-6:00."
