Bank Shot

"Bank Shot" is a high-energy marching percussion cadence (snareline, tenorline, 5 bass drums, and cymbal line) originally composed in 1984 while I was on tour with the Houston Night Hawks Drum & Bugle Corps. Revised in 2025 for modern battery ensembles, the piece features tight groove-based writing, interlocking parts, and driving rhythmic momentum, making it equally effective in the stands or on the street. It is accessible to most high school drumlines and beyond, while still offering enough variation to keep both performers and audiences engaged.
